The Murad Acne complex is a three piece kit with a fourth bonus product. We have included the Acne Spot Treatment in our review as it is the most commonly included. This system commonly sells for $30.00 if you signup for their re-shipment program (Health Skin Club).
1) Murad® Clarifying Cleanser – 2 fl oz - Helps to clear skin of acne while helping to prevent future blemishes; contains salicylic acid, green tea extract and menthol. To use: Every morning and evening, massage a small amount over your dampened face and neck. Follow with warm water and pat dry.

Nice ingredients, although the cleanser is extermly small at 2 fl oz for the most used product in the system you will run out quickly. It would also be nice to see a paraben free formula.
2) Murad® Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel – 1 fl oz – Helps remove impurities from the pores and helps restore skin clarity by helping to clear acne blemishes, pimples, whiteheads and blackheads with a salicylic acid formulation. Contains retinol and glycolic acid. To use: Every morning and evening after cleansing, massage a thin layer over face and neck.

Good ingredients overall, but the size of this product is a little small at 1 fl oz
3) Murad® Skin Perfecting Lotion -1 fl oz -Helps to hydrate and retexturize skin by helping to control shine and keep pores clean and looking minimized; contains retinol, queen of meadow extract and arnica. To use: Every morning and evening after cleansing and toning, massage evenly over your face and neck.

While there may be some nice ingredients in this product there are also a few that would nice to see gone (Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Tetrasodium EDTA)
4) Murad® Acne Spot Treatment – .25 oz Helps promote treatment of blemishes by delivering targeted acne medication and provide on-the-spot relief; contains sulfur, zinc and licorice extract. To use: Apply to the affected areas.

Nice product designed for drying out acne, but a really small size and again alot of preservatives ( Disodium EDTA, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben).
Our Summary
Compared with some of the most popular acne products the Murad Acne Complex is a better system, less irritants and some more natural ingredients; however most of these products contain some nasty preservatives as well as the fact that the sizes are too small.
The system that we think we rank higher than Murad Acne Complex is The ZENMED Daily Acne Defense System.
